With over 35 years of experience, Nick has worked on a diverse portfolio of projects across the UK, collaborating with numerous leading practices. His core expertise lies in Building Information Modelling (BIM), architectural detailing, and building conservation—bringing innovation while honouring the character of historic environments. He is also an Autodesk Revit Certified Professional (2019), ensuring cutting-edge digital delivery is embedded in his workflow.
A passionate advocate for conservation architecture, Nick specialises in the sensitive repair, adaptation, and revitalisation of heritage buildings. His work strikes a thoughtful balance between preserving architectural integrity and introducing modern, practical solutions—ensuring these buildings continue to serve and inspire future generations.
Nick is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Architectural Technologists (FCIAT), a Full Member of the Institute of Historic Building Conservation (IHBC), a Chartered Building Manager and Member of the Chartered Institute of Building (MCIOB), and a Member of the Chartered Association of Building Engineers (MCABE). These accreditations reflect his leadership and recognised expertise in both modern construction and architectural conservation.
Committed to nurturing future talent, Nick mentors emerging professionals through CIAT’s Mentor Match Me programme and lectures at local Schools and Universities, sharing his deep knowledge and practical insights with the next generation of design professionals.
Beyond the drawing board, Nick is a devoted martial artist—and when he's not sketching or sparring, you'll likely find him deep in a Lego build, where his creativity finds a more playful outlet.
