Stop destroying. Start protecting our environment.

TNM Architecture have over 35 years experience in the enhancement and regeneration of the historic environment by engagement with the local community, yet being one hundred percent sympathetic to a buildings form and intent. We have a vast knowledge of public realm improvements, locally in the Black Country, predominantly in Dudley, Wolverhampton and West Bromwich along with the London boroughs. Some images show projects carried out by TNM staff at previous practices.

TNM Architecture's conservation principles emphasize a whole-building fabric-first approach. This perspective underscores the importance of ventilation alongside insulation, ensuring that any intervention balances the building's integrity and environmental performance. Reversibility is a key consideration, enabling interventions that can be undone for future generations.

A holistic approach to conservation is central, respecting the unique characteristics of historic assets while ensuring that any upgrades are sustainable and aligned with heritage values. Moisture management is crucial, addressing risks such as condensation or overheating caused by incompatible materials. With the realities of climate change—including rising temperatures and increased flooding—TNM Architecture recognizes the evolving challenges that affect building performance, including ground movement due to changing weather patterns.
